Open and Affirming is a statement made by congregations of the United Church of Christ who wish to state officially that it extends a welcome to all people -regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity- into the life of its church. We believe in justice and liberation for all people and the vision of Hope Unites is to continue to minister to people as long there are those in need
