"The Courage To Care" Running Reverend

"The greatest degree of inner tranquility
comes from the development of love and compassion.
The more we care for the happiness of others,
the greater is our own sense of well-being."

Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama

During 2010 we will be planning our own marathon here in the Orlando area.  If you have an interest in helping out, please give us a call.  Our goal is to help out local charities while providing a safe place / event to raise awareness that Hope Unites is committed to creating a world in which we all want to live.

Our culture rewards individuality and celebrates those who have extreme wealth. It takes courage to live differently in this world and go out of our way to help someone. Help us make a difference and have "The Courage to Care".

Demonstrating Our Courage to Care for Pets in Need

Senior (and sometimes Not So Senior) Hounds-A-Bound.

Wendie and Pat, two of Hope Unites' Charter Members, have been caring for elderly and abandoned Basset Hounds and other 'hounds for years.  This work is indeed a labor of love.  Wendie and Pat often make huge sacrifices in order to care for and find homes for these wonderful pets.  If you feel inclined to get involved in some way, please contact Wendie by CLICKING HERE

Demonstrating Our Courage to Care in Afghanistan

Kori has shown incredible courage by enlisting in the Armed Forces and working as a Medic helping those caught in the crossfire of the violence.  For Kori and her fellow Medics in Afghanistan, the most vulnerable of all are the children who are injured through no fault of their own.
