Care for Kori

Thank you for taking an interest in extending support to Kori, our medic serving our country in Afghanistan.

Kori serves not only Allied Servicemen and women, but Afghan civilians as well.

The 411 on Care Packages

The Post Office provides free boxes.  You pack their boxes full with as much stuff as you can and it will be shipped for a flat rate.  The $10.95 box is about the size of a box you'd get a pair of boots in.

Item Ideas: Cans of soup, ravioli, tuna fish.  Hand sanitizer, KoolAid single packs, paper and envelopes (postage not needed), toothpaste, toothbrushes, playing cards, puzzle games (sudoku types), Medical mystery novels, Hot Tamales candy, Ramen Noodles, the list could go on...hope you get the idea.

Be careful about sending anything that might melt/spoil/explode.  If there is something you want to send that you want to add some assurance, simply place the items in a ziplock style bag.  The bags make great storage bags for stuff and keeps the sand out of belongings.

If you would like to put a box together, or just have some things to add to a 'Communal Box' of things, bring them to church and we'll be sure Kori and the others in her unit get the 'goodies'.
