SPRING CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
WILL TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY JUNE 1ST RIGHT HERE AT CHURCH IMMEDIATELY AFTER SERVICE. ITEMS TO BE DISCUSSED INCLUDE:
- Approval of Final Budget
- Affirmation of Council Members (if you are interested in serving on the Hope Unites Council, please contact any member of the current council including Linn)
- Review of Vision Workshops
“Vision Workshop” will be held THIS Saturday May 17th from 9:00am till noon. Our growth depends on determining our goals and vision for our future as a church. Breakfast will be provided and Valerie T will be facilitating these meetings to help the process of moving our church forward and growing in all ways to meet our future needs.
THIS WEEKS THINGS
THIS Tuesday and EVERY SECOND AND FOURTH TUESDAY Linn hosts a gathering where we get together and discuss our spiritual journeys. There are many different types of life and spiritual journeys and meeting at BARNES AND NOBLE BOOKSTORE ON EAST COLONIAL/BUMBY AVE NEAR FASHION SQUARE in Orlando gives us a great opportunity to discuss our own journeys in a very different atmosphere! NEXT Tuesday and EVERY FIRST AND THIRD TUESDAY at 630pm the Life Circle-Life Energy Prayer Group meets at Hope Unites United Church of Christ. For more information, contact Linn at 407-247-5294. We meet at 630pm right here at church.
“No god but God” is the title of the book being discussed at the Rosemont Book Club. This fun and informal group meets every Wednesday evening at 630pm. We usually finish our discussion by 8:00pm. Praise and Worship Music – If you wish to be a part of this energizing and fun singing group, please contact Denise G 407-658-7784. Practices are generally held EVERY Thursday in the sanctuary from 7pm-9pm. You might want to call Denise to double check though. All experiences welcome.
